Notes:

This is the second night of the 1982 San Francisco run. In my opinion this show is even better than the first night in terms of quality and performance. Not that the first show was chop liver, but this one has a warm sound that the first one did not have. Eddie's solo is airtight and Dave spends more time talking to the crowd than the first night.

This comes straight from the master and is undoubtedly the best possible version of this show you can get. I have heard parts of "Four on the Floor" and "Dive Bomber" and the difference is night and day. There are no speed/pitch problems, only some small cuts, probably when the taper was flipping tapes. In my opinion, this show rivals any of the North American shows from the 1982-83 Hide Your Sheep tour.

Many people have been asking for a clean copy of 9/15/82 San Francisco, and here it is. Pure, clean, untouched by any bootleg company. Seamless transitions between tracks. I am very happy to bring this to you and I hope you enjoy it. I hope that everyone who had a flawed 9/15/82 will be able to replace it with this copy, and that this copy will become the standard for this show in Van Halen trading circles.

Shania's first return to Columbus since May 21st, 2004 & she sounded incredible.
Personally, I havent seen her since 1999, so this was a real treat. I dont think
she has many fans that tape her shows or even care about audience recordings,
Ive seen so very few in trading circles. I hope there are a few out there who
want to check this out, regardless.

This is the final leg of her "final" tour, (or so she says) but that could change
in 2016. She broke out some real gems like "I Ain't No Quitter", "Party For Two", and a wonderful acoustic version of "No One Needs To Know". Another one to check out is the "Ka-Ching!" instrumental -- this has always been one of my favorite tracks from the "Up!" record and the band sounded amazing on this.

I recorded this while getting over a real bad head cold and had a splitting
headache to top it all off... so the sound was off to me all night. The recording sounds a bit nicer wearing headphones and lounging in my favorite chair.

Turn it up and lets hope Shania continues in the near future with a new record and more touring. She really is a treasure.

2006 wasn't a heavy year show wise for me in numbers, but it was a heavy one for this venue. Even though it could literally be a 6 hour roundtrip all the way across the state, I really like the venue and for awhile they had many great bands that somehow never made
it to the "local" PAC, so I made the long trek to see yet another Heart show :)

This was a short but sweet show, pretty much a "greatest hits" gig, but was still great and they did not disappoint at all. Heart was my first WDR release, and this show is my 10th release, so I thought it'd be cool to make it another Heart concert! Yeah, I myself (along with everyone else at the show) would have liked them to play longer, even adding just Mistral Wind would have made it even better but it is was it is and was still well worth the long drive ;)

I was in my usual area as far as seating, about 12th row DFC and the sound was definitely cranking, pretty loud with a nice mix. They also had a rather nice band assembled that rocked very nicely as well. Crowd was also pretty good around me, a little clapping along here and there but the music more than overpowers any of that stuff and Ann pretty much
smokes on this one, along with everything else!
Once again a very special thanks to siriusjoe for mastering this one to disc from my DAT !!

This was obtained by me in the 80's in a tape trade and determined the source to be from the 4LP Italian Bootleg "Do You Love Me".
There was one oddity to my tape in that for some reason BADLANDS was on the tape before PINK CADILLAC instead of where it belonged in the set. BORN TO RUN is missing as it is on the LP. Another tip off was the sequence of ROSALITA/JUNGLELAND/I'm A Rocker so it could fit on LP sides instead of Rosie/Rocker/Jungle as it was performed.

After MediaAddict and EDGE were able to get me the 2nd source of this concert, I was able to confirm that the version I had on tape was from the Bootleg LP. It contains (some of) the original fades and clicks and crackles (most removed). In some instances the LP side ends came to an abrupt ending instead of a fade. In order to recreate the feeling of listening to a bootleg LP, i have tried to re-create some of the endings with fades where needed. I've noted them below.

NO OTHER RE-MASTERING OF SOUNDS OTHER THAN CLICK AND CRACKLE REMOVER WAS DONE TO THIS ORIGINAL SOURCE TAPE SO THIS IS NOT A WRATHCHILD REMASTER. Because of the inncorrect sequencing some other cross fades may have had to be adjusted created to continue fluidity of the show as much as possible. Not really sure why the songs ended abrublty on LP side ends. Not sure if the LP was like that or if the tape trader wanted to remove evidence that it was sourced from the LPs.

This was my very first Bruce show as a boy of 16 and was so glad to have had someone record it so I could always have it as a souvenir. As a HUGE ELVIS fan, this was the 9th anniversary of his death and i all but cried during the performance of Johnny Bye Bye. Also, not sure if the other nights on the this stand did the same thing but during the Do You Love Me/Twist And Shout ending, the two tiers of the Meadowlands were doing a reverse wave (one level going one way, the other level going the other). This caused the building to shake and move like an actual wave. Bruce mentions it during the slow down part of that performance.

Here is an opportunity to get a Vinyl Rip of the "Do You Love Me" Bootleg as it appeared (I Think) in it's vinyl form (or close to it)

Excellent audience recording!
Minimal crowd noise.

The line-up of Dokken at that performed at the Hair Metal Holiday festival should have been billed as "The Don Dokken Band featuring Mick Brown and Friends".
It's not Dokken without George Lynch and Jeff Pilson!
I wasn't impressed. Don appeared to be going through the motions and Mick Brown's attempt at standup comedy came across as contrived and sad...
The appeal of the Hair Metal Holiday festival is the opportunity to see several minor league bands that I wouldn't go out of my way to otherwise see, like Dokken.

I was taping from SEC B ROW C - Aisle seat on stage left in line with the left hanging speaker stack.
You may hear phasing from time to time, as I had to move in order to let people pass.
I captured the first three sets while sitting in my seat.
I had to pace myself to in order to go the distance during this marathon event!
There was an obnoxious cougar in heat screaming behind me for most of the show.
Thankfully, Izotope RX4 did a good job masking her annoying screams!

I captured the ENTIRE Hair Metal Holiday 2017 festival, seven bands in total.
Over 5 hours of crunchy riffs, banshee screams, and the moans of cougars in heat!
The sound quality is consistent. However, L.A. GUNS were significantly louder than every other band.
Every band had issues with their lead vocal mics.

I will release all of my Hair Metal Holiday 2017 master recordings as time allows.
All you need is just a little patience...

HELP: Does anyone else out there own the TP Link Archer C5400 Tri-Band MU-MIMO Wireless AC5400 Gigabit Router?
I am using it with a Windows 10 machine and am unable to properly open ports for torrenting. I use qBitorrent 4.0.3 as my client.
I have plenty of experience properly opening ports on routers in the past. However, I can't figure out how to properly open ports on the Archer C5400 Tri-Band MU-MIMO Wireless AC5400 Gigabit Router.

Notes: Pretty decent recording, although between songs you can hear the audience talking and shouting(and cursing) at one another. Badlands and Point Blank are missing, the end of Because the Night and the start of She's the One are also cut(very slow tape flip I guess). The rest of the show is good. There is a slight edit right before the 8:00 mark on Racing also. This came to me in flac files and was set up to be on 3 discs, I soon realized it all fit on two discs and it matches the existing artwork. Racing was also cut at the end but the next track was the ending on the flac files I received. I spliced in where the edit was, there is a slight repetition and then the track continues(another tape flip I assume). I reripped the discs I had instead of using the flac files as the correction I had made were on the CDs not the flac files.
