There are several versions of this DVD, all steady, close, with few obstructions sourced from a (probably) PAL videotape:

1. An NTSC authored, sound upgraded version, probably upgraded with the "Bob's Full House" boot.

2. A 2-disk NTSC authored and sound upgraded version called "Hoarders Inc. Production " which was distributed via bittorrent in early 2008.

The sound upgrade source appears to be the same as 1 above.

3. A newer authored "Rip This Joint" PAL format version (see menu screenshot) off master, but not sound upgraded.

4. A 2-disk authored PAL version that is sourced from 3 above and sound upgraded with LB-7047 (ssrc-corrected version from same master as LB-5962).

This version was uploaded to the HungerCity tracker in December 2008.

5. Another 2-disk authored PAL version that is sourced from 3 above and sound upgraded with the Bob's Full House boot..

Excellent show, great band, really good horn section. Cindy Blackman was back on drums, which I loved. During the show, I repeatedly thought that Lenny finally cut back on some of those endless jams (like on "Let Love Rule" in the past), and I was really surprised to find out after the show that it had run for more than 2 hours (for just 15 songs!). So I guess either the playing was more interesting or I was in a better mood for jams than usual :)



The show started with an intro recording of "Rock It (Prime Jive)" by Queen ("when i hear some rock-n-roll / it gets down to my soul / when it's real rock-n-roll"), which was a nice mood setter. That short bit ended with an echo effect that went right into the drum intro to "Dirty White Boots". I cut out the pre-recorded Queen bit to comply with dime rules, but the echo effect is there at the beginning of the first track.



The PA was way too loud and too bassy. It took a few songs for it to be dialed in to where it was at least halfway balanced, Which I think was a shame because "Dirty White Boots", the first track, is such a great tune.



At times there's clapping, some whooping and shrieking and a bit of talking nearby, nothing I could do about that. But it's not there all the time or anything, so I think this recording is quite listenable. The lively audience makes for a very nice atmosphere on "Let Love Rule".

I've registered here a loooong time ago (my last visit was in year 2008). I've played guitar since 1994, learning by myself (back then there was no internet in my country, lol). In year 2000 I discovered Malmsteen and other shred guys...so I entered in shred phase, didn't leave the room for two years, lol. I've noodled around on the guitar till 2009, later on I didn't have much time for guitar because of work and my life situation.
Now I'm 37 and I started playing again, nothing ambitious, all dexterity has left my old hands, lol...
I might harass you every now and then with a cover (probably Iron Maiden, lol)

Very enthousiastic crowd that makes Leland Sklar post for the previous night "What a Crowd!
The love that filled to Albert Hall last night for Phil Collins brought tears to my eyes". It was the same atmosphere for each english date of the tour.

The Palladium was certainly more packed than I can ever remember, and quite the show it was. Really great set and performance, probably the best of the times I've seen them. I've heard grumblings the band isn't happy or doesn't like the tour but you wouldn't know it from the intensity of the show. I did find it odd there wasn't much band member or band/audience interaction, but thats never really been their thing anyway I suppose. Either way it was a great, packed, intense, fun show with lots of emo gothy gloom and depression, but in a good way. Here's hoping they reunite down the line.
