This is a great soundboard recording and it captured a great performance.
This is the show prior to the gig in the MSG in NY which is more widely available also in great soundboard sound.
Usual setlist but probably a better performance than other nights from this tour. Personal favourites have to be Sheriff and Holy Mother.

This was the year of the 50/50 Tour (all 50 US states in 50 days by car!). The tour started in Hawaii and
Alaska by air, and then the band drove from state to state in refurbished Checker cabs. Pretty impressive,
as was GT's snakeskin suit.

It’s CTA at the Texas International Pop Festival a few weeks after Woodstock in August 1969. I believe there’s a 10 CD boot available of the festival, though most of the performances are just snippets and fragments. But there are a few nice performances like Janis, Led Zeppelin and CTA. The sound is pretty nice, I boosted the sound level up a bit.
Sample included and a .jpg of the photo – the best resolution I could do. Feel free to use the photo for your personal use (I still have the original and will be framed asap !!). Merry Christmas everyone !!

The Texas International Pop Festival was a music festival held at Lewisville, Texas, on Labor Day weekend, August 30 to September 1, 1969. It occurred two weeks after Woodstock. The site for the event was the newly opened Dallas International Motor Speedway, located on the east side of Interstate Highway 35E, across from the Round Grove Road intersection.[1]
The Festival began at 4:00 p.m. each day. Grand Funk Railroad opened all three days and played through the afternoon heat till the 4:00 p.m. opening band. BB King played all three nights and told the same jokes and stories, perhaps thinking he had a different 150,000 person crowd for each show.[9]

More Notes:

Upgraded my video of this one and the sound was much better as well. Ripped to WAV with Roxio but the existing chapters did not split the tracks well. Usin Audacity, I amplified all tracks (at recommended 9+ db), joined all WAV tracks into one, then split correctly. A major upgrade from what I had before and ready for you to burn on CD.
